BBQ CHICKEN ON THE GRILL WITH BUTTERED QUARTERED POTATOES & A VEGGIE

INGREDIENTS:

4 Chicken thighs, skin removed

4 chicken legs, skin removed

Salt, pepper, onion & garlic powders

Budweiser Sweet & Smoky BBQ sauce (or homemade) (see my recipe for homemade BBQ sauce)

8 Medium to large sized potatoes, peeled and quartered

Butter

Parsley

Grill

Vegetables of your choice!

DIRECTIONS:

Start grill, leaving one side off.

Season chicken with salt, pepper, onion & garlic powders.

Place chicken on indirect heat.  Close grill lid and let go for 20 minutes.  After 20 minutes, turn chicken over.

If chicken seems like it is not getting down on the unlit side of grill, move chicken to lit side but turn burner down to low.  Close lid and grill 10 minutes.  Open lid, and turn chicken over.  Place some Budweiser sweet & smoky BBQ sauce on each chicken piece.  (NOTE:  If you love Sweet Baby Ray’s BBQ, you will LOVE Budweiser’s new sauces.  Outstanding!)  Close lid and and let grill 10 minutes.  Open lid and turn chicken over.  Add more sauce.  Grill another 10 minutes.  Done!

While chicken is grilling, place potato quarters in a pot with cold water and boil on medium heat for 10 minutes.  Check if potatoes are soft.  If soft, remove from heat, drain and add butter, salt and parsley, either flakes or freshly chopped.  Cover with lid to keep the heat in until ready to eat.

Veggies of your choice.  I love Steamfresh and Hanover steam in bag veggies. With this particular meal, we had the Hanover Petite Green Beans and Carrots medley and I added butter and fresh cracked black pepper.

Enjoy!
